Kelly Fitzgerald
BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Childhood Studies
Kelly has 25 years of experience working in childcare. She has covered a range of jobs, working as a room leader in nurseries for all groups of children, a nanny, a childminder, and a teaching assistant in a primary school. She is a mother to one child who is nearing the end of his education.
“My particular interests are teaching phonics and maths, and I am passionate about delivering high standards of care and education for our children, inspiring and supporting our children and families to make a difference to their lives enabling happy confident children to develop and continue in their education.”

Kathryn Cook
NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
Kathryn began working in childcare in her 20s as a nanny for professional families and later at a nursery for children from newborn to six years old. She began helping at Snitterfield Nursery School while her now teenage children were attending the nursery, formally joining the team in 2014 and becoming deputy manager in 2019.
Kathryn has always lived in Snitterfield, and she and her daughters attended Snitterfield Primary School. She enjoys going on long walks and baking.
“I love working with the children at nursery helping them to become confident and independent by creating a calm and safe environment that engages and inspires all the children in our care.”

Helen Berry
TQUK Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s workforce (Early Years Educator)
Helen began working at Snitterfield Nursery School in 2019 and completed early years educator training with a Distinction the following year. Helen is also a qualified as an Early Years Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator.
“I have always enjoyed building strong relationships within the nursery environment, with the children and their families and of course the team working here. Being able to be involved with supporting a child as they develop, and grow has always made my role so much more than just a job!
I have recently qualified as a Level 3 Early Years SENDCo, which I am sure will be at times challenging but a role where I hope to further support

Sarah Ryan
CACHE Level 3 NVQ in Childrens car, learning and Development.
Sarah worked as a childminder for 10 years during which time she completed her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and various related training. She then felt it was time for a new adventure and began working in a nursery.
“I joined Snitterfield Nursery School in 2022 and I love the kind and caring environment. I especially enjoy helping the children learn through their early years and helping them with their creative ideas.”

Lisa Riches
Lisa joined Snitterfield Nursery School in [year], completing her early years training in 2017. Lisa’s particular interest is outdoor learning, and she leads the children’s weekly outdoor learning sessions. Lisa also has experience as a volunteer Scouts Forest School Leader.
‘’ I joined Snitterfield Nursery 10 years ago as a volunteer in forest school, to enable the children to do outdoor learning and they really love it. I live in Snitterfield and have two children that both attended nursery and Snitterfield School. I have two dogs and enjoy baking, cooking, gardening and generally being outside.’’

Sammie Mazey
Childcare and Education Intermediate certificate
Sammie has worked in childcare on and off from the age of 16 and has been working at Snitterfield Nursery since 2016. My name is Sammie. I have three children. Sammie enjoys arts and crafts and going on long walks over the fields and woods with her family.
“All of my children have come to Snitterfield Nursery and really enjoyed it. I was lucky to be asked to work here as well at the same time. I enjoy working with the children helping them to be the best they can be and help them learn new skills.”

Kim Flavell
Kim joined Snitterfield Nursery School in November 2020. She has over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources for large corporate companies and has a Certificate in Personnel Practice. In her spare time, Kim enjoys art, crocheting and reading as well as nice walks in the countryside with her husband.

Clare Mazey
I am a Mother of four children, two of which have additional needs. I really enjoy arts and crafts and being creative. I have experience working as a 1-2-1 support for children with additional needs at Snitterfield Primary School. I am really happy to join the team at Snitterfield Nursery School supporting children and staff.
